A sewage line is being planned and will not pass through Harbour Island and will instead take an underwater path. This decision will most likely be very expensive but scientifically makes the most sense according to Mayor Buckhorn.
The problem here is where the city has to put the sewage line and how people will have to deal with the construction. Construction can lead to cut off roadways and putrid smells form the sewage.
The people potentially affected here are the people of Harbour Island who potentially could have been completely cut off from downtown Tampa. Their lives would have been tremendously hindered do to the location of the sewage line.

Hurricane Florence hitting the Carolinas could hurt Florida as it would increase flooding premiums that have been felt from our own hurricanes. The amount of money Florida has taken is roughly 8 percent while we pay for about 35 percent of their policies. The flood insurance is deeply in debt and if Florence puts the company under then Florida could end up paying even more than they already are.
The problem is Floridians are paying a large portion of the flood insurance when they are receiving a minority of the coverage.
Floridians who live on the coast where flooding is regular.

A man was found unable to be tried for the murdering of a father due to the man's mental illness. If the judge finds him unfit for trial he will be sent to a state hospital and receive treatment until he is found fit for trial.
People are unable to be held trial for their crimes against the public because of their mental illness. There is not a solid solution to ensuring that people with mental illness are given the help they need to tend to their problems.
This problem is both for those with mental illness and those who are harmed from a lack of ability to help those who need the help.
