1. My opportunity is the need for something to fix the feeling of sweat on the back of a person in their shirt.
2. The who: University students
The what: When they walk to class they sweat and it gets stuck in their shirt, making them uncomfortable.
The why: Shirts do not dry quickly and are very absorbent of sweat.

Testing the who: Bikers in college would suffer more from backpack closeness.
Testing the what: People who are in hot climates not indoors.
Testing the why: Heat causes the problem because of how long you are in the sun.

Testing the who: Students that walk or bike to school.
Testing the what: People who are in a colder area would not have this problem.
Testing the why: Lack of public transportation to stay out of the heat.

Testing the who: Athletes that are involved in contact sports and running.
Testing the what: No real limit, all suffer from the problem just in varying forms.
Testing the why: Climate and breath-ability of clothing causes sweat to stick the most to shirts.

Testing the who: Overweight people that take no strides to become fit.
Testing the what: The heat present in the atmosphere as well as the distance being traveled.
Testing the why: The humidity of the area is the biggest source of the problem.

Testing the who: People who walk outside for more than one minute.
Testing the what: If you are outside than their is no boundary to having this problem.
Testing the why: The axis the Earth is tilted on pointing Florida so directly towards the sun.
5. I have learned that the common man sees heat and climate to be the end all be all to sweating. I also learned most people can only see as far as their own experience. By this I mean I interviewed college students and they saw themselves as the biggest sufferer of this problem. Lastly, I learned few people see a shirts breath-ability as the source of the problem for this opportunity.

ReplyDeleteI've learned a lot from your interviews, you had a good outline that maintained consistency throughout all of the questioning but I believe you could have dived deeper into your product and try to get more personalized responses from those you were interviewing. I feel like these personal revelations are what really give you insight to your target audience, or if anything just give you more information.
